i wish i'd have gone for another 2 essay-based subjects instead of science!

i have taken maths, biology & english lit into A2, left AS chemistry with a D last year. only getting an A in english i think probably B/C's in maths & biology at the rate my revision is going

should have tried lit, history and either economics or politics? still would have picked maths but i just wouldn't have taken it into A2.

Taster days are better because you're at the Uni for your subject alone. You and your potential classmates. You do a few activities, get to ask some questions, they're really good. I went to a couple for Computing a few months back.
    Thanks I'll look into it.

So you're in year 12? Just finished AS? Because I'd like to know what sort of grades you're getting and who you're applying to.

German. It's SO hard to get an A.
Had I known.. I would've taken something you can cram and learn rather than a skill you have to develop O_O

A level English Literature. I actually thought getting an A* at GCSE meant I could handle the A level, guess not.

Biology, especially when you do AQA biology, and they give you an essay at the end of the last unit ://

WJEC History. Wish I HAD taken maths instead (they clashed so I had to choose between them) But I suppose the clash was a good thing - made me take AQA Sociology and that's now my easiest A

What are your opinions on the following subjects: OCR Biology, AQA Law, Edexcel Maths and AQA Psychology? These are my chosen A-levels for next year.

AQA Psychology was really good at AS but bored me to tears at A2

German, my teacher has hardly helped me throughout the entire course and I've pretty much had to teach myself the grammar stuff. To give you an insight, she even has to look up a 'lot' of words during the lessons! My exam is this Friday and it will probably be a miracle if I pass...

Exactly the same as me!! However, I've actually received hardly any help throughout the course because my teacher is just pathetic, for all I know she could be teaching me a whole load of crap.. :/

I've heard the horror stories from fellow classmates. I'm so glad I dropped it if that's the case. I have no idea why I took it in the first place.

Applied Business Studies. Only took it because it was the only subject that wouldn't clash. Rubbish.
