Re: What A Levels do you regret taking?Yep. Business Studies. I'm applying for computer science. Doing maths, physics and business. Next year, to 'beef up' my application I'm doing further maths AS. I wish I had done something boring and reliable like chemistry...(Original post by QwertyG)

Re: What A Levels do you regret taking?
Maths, alright as AS but really steps up a gear at A2! Nothing like the GCSE days that require no revision. Also, can see why some people regret taking a language, I took french but have a real passion for the subject so don't have any regrets
However, if you don't have a genuine interest in the language you probably won't feel the same as a LOT of hard work and dedication is required.

Religious Studies. I would happily turn up to the lessons just to listen to the teacher because what he talked about was actually really interesting and it made you think. It was obvious he was an atheist, and actually the a level didn't involve much religion at all, it was more ancient greek philosophers, really it wasn't what I expected it to be. I enjoyed the lessons but when it came to writing essays I failed miserably.

Physics, thought it would be fairly easy, especially as i had an interest in it..just managed to scrape a C in it at the expense of my other results *sigh*
Chemistry was only made awful by my teachers and the blatant cheating that goes on in the AQA ISAs (makes me so ****ing mad) which my school refuses to acknowledge.
I think i may have just not liked these subjects really because i moved school for sixth form which i kind of regret doing as i didnt know the teachers were awful.
would have preferred to take music tech instead of physics but it wasnt on offer.
I would rather have taken a different AS, maybe Computing
However, if you don't have a genuine interest in the language you probably won't feel the same as a LOT of hard work and dedication is required.
