He went missing over amonth ago. Seems it occurred in Makeevka which is an enormous industrial area which borders Donetsk. I'm wondering what he was doing there, particularly so long before the tournament. I think this I very sad and I just hope that nothing more like this happens in the next few weeks.

Agree. All international football competitions must be held in places where there are no murders at all.

There's a difference between good society with a hint of murder and racist society riddled with organized crime ya know. Seem to be demonstrating a lack of understanding that there are societies that lie within your [no society - racist crime hole] extremes

It all good to say that Ukraine has serious social issues and for this reason should not host the Euro 2012 tournament, but look at the alternatives in the voting. Italy, home of the most fascistic football fans as well as the Mafia, and Hungary-Croatia, which suffers from similar problems of race hate and organised crime. It is possible to complain about the location, but it was the best bid available out of the three. There really was no alternative.
