I have the 4.99 version, and it is honestly such good value. For the price of a cheap album you get millions upon millions of songs, ad-free.
It has no "In Rainbows" though, which sucks .

    Go for it
Sounds really good actually! Now I've got Spotify and Stazoo to choose between!! both really good!! One has Music Videos also, but I'm hearing lots of Spotify! BTW what is MOG/Pandora?

I've listened to over 20 hours this month and a lot of songs more than 5 times (yay for exam season!) and I'm a free member, so I'm not sure how true this is.
Huh, well there should be a countdown bar in the top right of the spotify UI, which counts down the hours you have left

The only issue is that if Spotify ever goes bust that you'll have to buy a load of songs anyway, seeing as you don't actually own them.

I have the 4.99 version though, and it's absolutely worth it. Get the premium version with the NUS card offer.

Pandora is a kinda intelligence "Radio" whereby you type in an Artist or song you like, and then it analyses the genre, tempo, beat, rhythm etc to find other songs that you will like.

    Pros:

    - It's actually very accurate in finding similar songs you'll like.
    - You can create multiple "Radio stations" for different genres.
    - By thumbing up or down the songs it suggests, you can refine the songs it finds to your absolute liking

    Cons:

-It is only available to those residing in the US. Therefore, you'd need a proxy or VPN to access the site.
    - You can't replay/go back to the song once it's played.
-You can only skip songs you don't like a certain amount of times/hour.
    - Ads play every few songs.
-The first two Pros are also features of Spotify

Not sure if it's been mentioned but they have a student discount so it's only £5 for the premium membership. Really good deal imo.

I quite like it, I had the free version for ages before the ads drove me mad and they introducted the cap. I paid £5 and recently cancelled and brought the new NUS offer for the premium account which is now £5. I think it's worth it as I use it all the time.

Okay, so Pandora is not for me, Spotify with NUS seems cheap (but does not have Music Videos) - what is MOG?

    Deezer isn't bad either.

No ads, but you're limited to 30-second tracks or artist-based radios (which have full-length tracks) unless you register. The library is much the same as Spotify, tbh, and the price bands are similar. Only major difference is the lack of ads and -unlike spotify- deezer is browser-based, so you don't need to download anything

I'm pretty sure Stazoo just embeds YouTube videos doesn't it?

Actually I thought that at first when my friend sent me the link, but they have LOADS of music/movies!!!

I actually just found out that once you login, you can see what your friends & Twitter people are tweeting regarding a song or Album or movie. They seem to have quite a few celebrities on the site discussing about the Albums etc (that's quite novel!!)
