btw if your woundering why im hoping for lowish grades its because i've had alot of personal problems throughout this year :/ very close people in family passing away. i'm doing my AS's btw.

I think if I don't get A's in Biology and English Lit, I will be gutted. Psychology should be okay with a B, but I want all A's. :frown:
I'm the same OP, I doubt I'll get any A's because of personal problems and stuff :frown:
I'll be happy with all B's but I really don't think I got a B in chemistry...
(AS levels)

AAAA - I've got someone else's result slip.
AAAB - I've got someone else's result slip.
AABB - I've got someone else's result slip.
ABBB - I've got someone else's result slip.
BBBB - I've got someone else's result slip.
BBBC - UUUU - Oh well.
when i got my a level results 2 years ago i really wasnt expecting what i needed (AAB). my mum had passed away a month before my exams, i hadnt been to college etc.
i thought i was doomed, so me and my boyfriend were all prepared to drive up to sheffield and 'fight' for me to be let in!!

As it was i got the grades and never in my life have i been so happy! i just really couldnt believe my luck. ran round whooping and cheering!

good luck everyone waiting on results!

Sit at my computer with two cups; one filled with champagne, and the other filled with a cocktail of tequila, aspirin and anti-freeze.

Then let my results dictate which one I drink.

I'm doing A2's at the moment, so:

A*A*A*a: Fat Chance
A*A*Aa: Dies of heart attack
A*AAa: :woo:
AAAa: Good but not great
Below: :angelwings: (I'm off)

EDIT: I should probably add that these will be my responses to my grades to get onto my course, so I fail to see how it could offend anyone else. Meh, haters gonna hate.
(edited 11 years ago)
AAAA: I'd literally run around the college dancing.
AAAB: Same as above.
AABB: I'd be extremely chuffed.
ABBB: I'd still be quite happy.
BBBB: Normal.
Lower: Pissed.
i got so nervous i got up at 5am since i couldn't sleep and had to consume a few shots of some apple schnapps to calm my nerves haha. good luck to everyone waiting for results in august!

She was like a parent :/
A*A*A* to AAA = "This isn't my results slip..." as I have no chance of getting above AAA.

AAB or ABB = "YES I'VE GOTTEN INTO THE UNI I WANT". The Uni of Leeds offered me ABB, which is where I want to go.

ABC or BBC = "****". This will probably be maths pulling me down... Can I resit a single exam or two without resitting the year?
