Back To The Future
Whether you think cinema died with Hitchcock or only got good once Michael Bay started blowing up helicopters, this is the place where moving pictures are discussed.

Should there be a re-make or a 4th?
Personally i'm not 100% sure about a re-make, but would love to see a 4th! -

A remake would be tragic, the films stand up even today. You couldn't really make a 4th either due to Michael J Fox's health. Hopefully the powers that be will just leave them alone.

dont say that, they might actually get someone decent, but depends on getting a proper director

Re: Back To The Future
Remake? That's all that Hollywood is doing lately. Unless you can ADD something new, why bother? What has Indiana Jones done? Star Wars prequels? Hollywood should concentrate on original movies. You can't recreate 80's charm and BTTF is nothing without Fox's youthful charisma and chemistry with Doc.

Re: Back To The Future
I would say the 2nd film is my favourite. Very good trilogy though, all three are good films.
For anyone curious as to a potential direction the story could take after the 3rd film, you may want to give Telltale Games' Back to the Future game (or 5 slices of episodic content) a go. It picks up right after the 3rd film ends. -
Re: Back To The FutureThe first one is the best in my opinion, but they're all great.(Original post by BP22)

I love the music too (which now that I've mentioned it will be playing in my head all day(not that I mind
)).
I actually had this sketchy idea for a fourth one that'd be set in the 2015 as we'll know it, then someone would go back to 1985 (that film is almost 30 years old. incredible) and they'd come back to the 2015 from the second film.
I really hope they don't make a fourth though, even though it's be great to see Micheal J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd again. -
Re: Back To The Futurehmm he specifically said that he begged her not to.(Original post by Mati1)
No, Daniel Radcliffe just wants to go back in time and make J.K.Rowling write more Potter books.

Re: Back To The Future
LOVE Back to the future and its so hard to choose a favourite. but if i had to it would be the first, as its the first! its got everything, romance, action adventure comedy. i love christopher lloyd he's so funny with the faces he makes.
And please god dont let them make a remake. dont fix what aint broken.
they weren't even going to make the second and third. the ending to the first one was just ment as a joke but as it was so popular, folk were demanding a sequel. so glad they did them but its been too long now. it'll just end up like indiana jones rather than toy story 3
