I know exactly how it works, i just don't know how to write it down (Edexcel Unit 4) This is what I came up with so far.

The alternating current in the P Coil sets up an alternating magnetic field.

The magnetic flux linkage in the S Coil varies continuously.

This induces an emf in the S Coil

Is this correct? Anyway to write it better?
