moving in july 1st but current contract ends next week
I moved in this current flat in december for a 6 month contract and so it ends on june 21st. However my contract for my new flat starts this july 1st so for a week or so I've got nowhere to stay. What are my options? I haven't gotten along with my current estate agents tbh as they've lied to me on the condition of the flat and still haven't fixed anything I originally requested. Shall I ask my new estate agents if I can move in earlier? What would be the best thing to do?

Ask both the old estate agents if you can stay an extra week, paid, and the new ones if you can move in early... keeping options open
Failing that, is there anyone who would put you up for a week?

I'll just have to ask my new estate agents to move in earlier, but I'm not sure when the current tenant will move out. Unfortunately not. Thanks for the help, I think I'll just talk to both of them and see what happens, hopefully they'll be a bit flexible!

If worst comes to worst, could you put most of your stuff into storage for the week, and then stay in a backpackers hostel? Not ideal, but it will stop you ending up on the streets.
