My male flat mate tries to hit me (female)So i had a thing with the boy called 'A' we slept together numerous times but nothing came of it because he wasnt very nice to me and didnt like me very much.
He is a very aggressive person even and drinks everyday in excess as well as doing drugs e.g. weed, MDMA (3 times in 4 days previsouly) and has done cocaine etc etc
Last night he was messing around in the flat and i told him to stop and lightly slapped his chest (im 7 stone and 5 foot 4 he is big built with muscles and 6 foot 2 so wouldnt have hurt)
he cornered me against a door got in my face and threatened me
I dont know what ot do
he doesnt feel bad at all, he just feels bad because my friend 'B' had to drag him off me and is sad that him and person 'B' are not going to be friends
Im living with him next year too

Re: My male flat mate tries to hit me (female)Well, that sounds pretty bad. I wouldn't feel to bad that A and B aren't going to be friends- it's A's fault, not yours.
Have you actually mentioned it to him while he was sober? You need to make sure he knows that it's utterly unacceptable for him to behave like that. Otherwise, who knows if it'll happen again? Next time, B might not be there to defend you and that could get very ugly very quickly.
I'm not trying to be a scaremonger here, but you've got to make sure he doesn't try anything like that ever again- it could be that talking to him is enough so give that a go. If he doesn't seem to get the message, then I'd seriously consider reporting him drug usage to your landlord. -

Why would you want to live with him next year?! After that I personally would be straight down the letting agent/uni halls stating i have to move with immediate effect stating the cause and concern for my welfare!!

Re: My male flat mate tries to hit me (female)Find new living arrangements asap because you do not want to be anywhere near this boy. Talk to a close friend or family member for now and do tell this boy that he had no right to treat you the way he did.
If he threatens you or touches you without permission, tell the police - no one has a right to do those things to you without consent. -

You need to tell someone if you feel threatened, especially as he drinks a lot and may be unpredictable. I'm concerned that you would sleep with someone who clearly has no respect for you.

Talk to the landlord. This sounds like a breach of contract and he could kick the guy out. Get a statement from person B and then talk to him. -
