So E3 has just passed...and a whole new bunch of amazing games have been unveiled, and have polluted my mind with insane thoughts on how to get cash money to buy them all.

But as for this year, so far, what's the best game you've played?

I really can't decide.
I've played quite a few great games, but I'd shrink the list to these (in no particular order):

- Dragon's Dogma.

- Dark Souls.

- Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. I was never really interested in the franchise until I played it at a friend's house. Got so, so addicted.

But I think my favourite game of this year so far would have to be:

Journey.

Edit: The game doesn't have to have come out this year, but you bought it this year, like.

Only bought dark souls and battlefield 3 this year and couldn't get into either so I'm gonna say Skyrim from last year is what I've enjoyed most to play this year. In fact I haven't bought any full games (bought a couple of arcade games) released this year.

Ive also bought various cheap games on steam but haven't played most, they will be played when I'm done building my pc later this month.

Great game, but quite a few annoying bugs. I remember going to Solitude as part of a quest and the woman I was with just began attacking me for no reason. Couldn't continue at all. I even paid a random bounty off and she still wanted to kill me.

That's a shame, I wouldn't have encountered that problem cause I downloaded it for my PC. There's some bad news too, there will never be a sequel due to the makers of the game laying off their whole staff due to money troubles. You can read about it here

Mine is also another release from last year - Mafia II. I've always loved open world driving/shooting games - and for me this actually beats the Driver franchise (which I was obsessed with a few years ago).

Hard to say, Probably Max Payne 3, Diablo 3 or Crusader Kings 2....so hard to say.

Max Payne 3, prototype 2, and last years assassins creed revelations. I was at e3 and I'm so excited for AC, CoD:BO, GTA, and Bioshock.
