    Are the Keele Woods Haunted?
Hey guys, Im going to starting Med at Keele in September. I attended a Offer holders visit day a couple of months back, and one of the students said that the woods are haunted and in previous years, it was the site of several gruesome Satanic rituals and people commiting suicide by hanging themselves on the branches. Is there any truth to this?

And if I did, it would be considered 'normal' would it?

Of course it's hunted.. I see the ghosts floating around all the time at night.

They won't bother you unless you stare though..

Not haunted but it does have a super interesting history involving satanic rituals and the knights templar and stuff.

Freshers joke possibly? cause they know if you're applying at keele then you're most likely to take them up on that offer?

There is trees with "satanic" carvings on them but that's about it. No hanging in the woods either, just halls.

I have been in those woods so many times I can walk them with my eyes closed - they are totally haunted!

IIRC there was some dodgy looking doorway in the middle of the grass right next to the pub near Hawthorns. Would love to know what was inside it....
