Probably, her dance routines and lip syncing do require quite a lot of energy to be spent up...

I'm not fan of Cheryl Cole, and I know you're referring to the racism case she got in trouble for, but that aside she worked hard to come from an underprivileged background to someone everyone in the country recognises (despite her lack of ability to sing live/at all). She has no class, but she certainly doesn't strike me as lazy.

I don't think people consider her a great role model in terms of what she's actually achieved, but more in the sense that she's a popular public figure who is generally regarded as very classy, she doesn't do the whole "loads of make up, no clothes" thing that a lot of other female celebrities that girls look up to do. Like, I know she's a duchess and all, but that's the only thing I can assume people mean when they call her a great role model.

She has to be like that. As you said, she's a duchess, falling out of clubs drunk, caked in makeup with no clothes would be unacceptable fo someone in her position. Everyone goes on about classy her style is, one example is how she has apprently bought nude tights back in and made them classy- what most people don't know is that nude tights are royal protocol as you are not allowed to go bare legged. Why does that make her a role model? It's not hard to keep your clothes on and not pile on the make-up, I find it sad that she has to be applauded for that.

Cheryl Cole on the other hand may have worked harder than Kate, at least at the start (she's very rich now) but dresses like a slut and causes aggro in public. You can argue that Kate has to act the way she does but then royals have caused scandals in the past cause of their dress and mannerisms so at the end of the day its still her choice. There is no reason for Cheryl Cole to act the way she does or dress the way she does, again a choice. I personally care little for neither of them but the public do care about these things. Who would you rather your daughter acted like, Kate or Cheryl? As for people insulting Kate for not working hard, I personally don't know how much Kate works. She went to university so she must have studied at least and maybe people think she's a good role model for girls cause at least she went to university? She married a man who works hard (is part of the RAF) and acts well himself whereas Cheryl's choice was not so great, maybe people see it a good role model to young girls to choice their men more wisely? She says she wants to be a traditional housewife, I don't know if she acts like one, if she actually cooks and cleans but at the end of the day there is nothing wrong with girls choosing to have families instead of careers if that is what they want (as it is not wrong for men to be househusbands).

People say she's "underprivileged" and the only thing that strikes me as working class is the fact she lived in a council estate. There are decent working class people, but her and her family choose to fight in public, swear and be awful people. Therefore it is a choice.

It isn't hard to sit on the judging panel and pretend to cry, exclaiming "I love ya" every five minutes. She's rude to the guests as well - a polite person would have tackled Wagner's comments about her upbringing in private, though she attacked him deliberately. (The video's on YouTube I think - I remember reading about it somewhere). One of the reasons why I dislike her so much - she feels that just because she has a family of thugs she can attack people as she pleases.

Personally I think businessmen, bankers, doctors, cleaners, etc etc work hard, but celebrities and other ilk do not.

As for Kate, I don't really care for her either way. She always looks classy and speaks well, but I don't see how she should be applauded for behaving normally. She seems like a genuine person though, unlike that stupid tattoed brute Cole.

The only thing I respect her for (perhaps that was too strong a word, I barely pay attention to her) is that she came from a council estate where many people think that you will come to nothing because of your upbringing, which is often not the case. I lived on a council estate and am hoping for a bright future, albeit not one racially abusing others.

It's pretty clear you have a hatred for Cheryl and I can sort of understand that, I wouldn't go as far as to call her all the names you have because I don't know her nor pay that much attention to her, I just know that she used to live on a council estate, can't sing and has made millions out of that. It's the mugs that pay her the salary that should be attacked for keeping her in the spotlight as well in all fairness.

She dresses really conservatively for someone of your age.
And because when you're old things start to sag, skirts above the knee and low cut tops should really be avoided for the sake of decency if your skin isn't up to it anymore.
