you need two bank accounts bank account one every bit of income goes in to. have a second signatory or a 30 access on this account.
Bank account two has a weekly or monthly payment coming in from account one. Once the money in account two is spent you are stuck till next payment.

It’s only an idea but lets wait for idiots to come and lambast it, now lets wait while they look up lambast.

This is generally what I'd recommend except it might be worth just having two accounts that you can make withdrawals from whenever you want but one of them is only online so you can't use a card with it. This is just generally so that in an emergency you know that you have access to money if you really need it.
Though it does take more self discipline.

You're a brat, and your parents are rich, but you have no money, want to buy things on credit, want an interest free credit card, as an international student, and can't afford to upgrade your computer.

You never mentioned earnings from your own salary in the tread you started 8 hours ago, where you said this
"Im an international student and well my dad pays everything for me. Do you pay your all by your self or partly ? Whenever i tell my friends my dad supports me, they all give me that look. Whats so wrong if my parents are rich".

If you want to learn how to spend less, tell your dad to stop paying everything for you.

If you have a debit card I would recommend taking it out of your purse/wallet. I find I spend way more money when I have my debit card with me, then times when I have more then a usual amount of cash on me.

Or if you cant live without your debit card Lloyds TSB has this bank account where when you spend money on your card it puts what would have been the change (from a pound) into another bank account for you. Its good over the long run but not great at first. http://www.lloydstsb.com/savings/save_the_change.asp

Take out a set amount each week/month then hide your card somewhere so you can't just whip it out at the shops.

I know exactly what you mean, my mom gives me £40 for tuition and lately i havent been paying, the reason why is because i'm that type of person who will spend what ever is in my pocket and the sad fact is i spend it on the most useless things. I'm so worried she's going to ask me randomly about where the money has been going
