What happens if you choose to miss a resit?
Hey, I've got an A2 resit layer but I already have 83/100 UMS so I'm debating whether or not to just give it a miss? Would I keep my previous 83/100, or would there be some kind of penalty. Cheers.

I don't think they can penalise you. But you paid for it?

    You keep the original mark.

Whatever you decide, let your exams officer know. It causes them grief when students are absent and you never know when you might need some help from them in the future.

Nothing happens, you just keep your mark!

This happened to me last week..I decided not to resit becasue I already had 84 ums marks and didn't think it would be worth the stress of doing revision etc again if my mark wasn't going to go up much!
