Re: Cool Gift for £160Avoid Beats like the plague, They're flimsy and fragile as well as being abysmal headphones. If you want to get him a stylish set of headphones, look at the V-Moda M80s or Bower and Wilkins P3 for around the same price.(Original post by im so fresh)
Hi,
I'm looking for ideas on gifts around £160 for a mate.
It should be long lasting and durable etc.
i was thinking ipod touch/dre beats?
any suggestions?
p.s. only tech gifts
iPod Touches are awesome, there's also the Samsung Galaxy Wifi as an Android alternative.
If he already has an iPod and you think he'd enjoy a dock for it, this one is a hell of a dock, it's the one I use. It's a massive thing but sounds awesome.
Cameras are always nice, you'll be able to get plenty of recommendations in the Photography subforum.
There's a Kindle+Amazon credit if they enjoy reading.
If they're into gaming, you can pick up Nintendo 3DS and 1 game bundles from Game for just under £160. You can also get a 250GB XBox 360 Slim for the same price, but someone will need to lump up a bit extra for a game or two.Last edited by Gofre; 11-06-2012 at 11:53. -
