Well, this all depends on personal ability and, to an extent, your teacher. However, personally I would rank them, from easiest to hardest, in the following manner:

Going by how I actually did, Core Science as, had I not done the triple modules, I would have got 100%. I'm not particularly talented, it's just very basic material that can be memorized. The exam technique is also quite low as it's an introduction to science exams as such.

English last because of the coursework. Not that it was hard per se, just required effort because you had to spend time doing it.

Er, they're all pretty easy though to be fair if you're not completely slacking.

I would agree. But, it seems I am the exception the this rule: I prefer Maths but don't hate English/Essay subjects. Maths seems easier as there are straightforward answers while English is more subjective. Also, writing essays depends on the topic for me. The only problem is that at GCSE level English is quite formulaic and dependant on the mark scheme rather than a test of actual skill.

Biology (especially Core Biology. I got 100% despite having learnt it all myself, as Id been off school for nearly a year!)
English Language (I was always gettings A's and A*s with very little effort in this subject)
English Literature (Relatively easy. Only hard part was producing what I wanted to be said in a very short space of time!)
Maths (Some hard stuff, but generally quite easy. I made very silly mistakes though! Cost me my A*)
Chemistry (Two units were rather easy, but the last one was pretty challenging for gcse)
Physics (It made me put Maths into context and I wasn't very good at that! Still I got an A which I was pleased with - and I was only 2 marks away from an A*!)
