Re: B at AS/ C at A-Level?A 'B' is probably the minimum any uni would expect for a medicine course, most require all A's or 2 A's and a B.(Original post by JayD123)
applying to do med, what would be better to have, a B in AS biology or a C at A-level? ty -
Re: B at AS/ C at A-Level?Some medicine courses require AAC, but they last for 6 years, opposed to the traditional 5(Original post by As_Dust_Dances_)

Re: B at AS/ C at A-Level?B(Original post by JayD123)
sorry, forgot to explain, I'm only deciding to drop my 4th A-Level now because i'm probably going to get a C in this last exams cuz of all the other exams i have :|
p.s im still on track for an A*AA in my 3 other subjects
ty anyway
Having a 4th A Level puts you at little advantage so I would advise you to drop that subject with the B at AS Level. My friend got AAAB at AS Level, B at Maths (which he dropped) and got an offer from Liverpool and Leicester. -
Re: B at AS/ C at A-Level?It would make your life so much easier. I think they kind of expect you to study a combination of Biology and Chemistry. Though all of them emphasise Chemistry, I'm sure they would want you to do Biology as well. A2 Biology is a lot more in depth than AS(Original post by JayD123)
lots of people have said this to me, but very few unis would actually want biology a-level :s
