    Any good textbooks
Hey I am planning to study psychology so can anyone recommend any good textbooks. I am a beginner to psychology, I have never studied it before cause they don't offer it in my school. So I'd really appreciate it if the book covers the basics and offers a good intro

    Thanks!!

Psychology: The Science of Mind and Behaviour by Richard Gross is a fairly comprehensive introductory textbook. Also, I'd recommend watching this series of lectures by Paul Bloom (he's great!) from Yale. Even though they are recordings of lectures provided to undergraduates, I still think they're fairly accessible: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vg01Q...feature=relmfu
