Meeting to confirm rejection of CVA and liquidation of Rangers FC PLC took nine minutes.

And this is where the beginning of the end starts for the SPL. R.I.P.
It's been ending for the past 5 years. They can't even get into the champions league anymore.

Oh shut up you fool. There is no Scottish football without Rangers, it is dead. I can't wait till all the *******ated Celtic fans realise this when their team becomes even worse than it already is.

Many Celtic fans don't seem to realise that this probably will not be the end of Rangers. Look at Fiorentina...

Its hilarious how people actually think a league that only one team can ever win can be described as good. At least left hand drive will have plenty more pictures of meaningless trophies to put in his sig over the coming years.

There is, and there will be for a long time.

You guys ruined the league. You're now non-existent. Scottish football can once again prosper if the higher ups do it right :top:

Fiorentina were never liquidated. You guys will cease to exist, understand?

We, along with Celtic made the league. Without Rangers it has become a pathetic one horse race league. Pretty sure most people agree apart from Celtic fans.

And Fiorentina did cease to exist and had to start again in Serie C2, the fourth tier of Italian football. Maybe you should do your research because you are clearly clueless

What would be of the players though, I guess you'll have more money than those clubs so could get a team together but you're looking at losing your whole squad. Reckon you'll get straight promotions though.

No, it was not just the two of us. Dundee United, Aberdeen and Hibs were also great. Murray out-spending everyone ruined the league.

I've also yet to meet any other clubs fans that want you guys back around :top: (I've yet to meet any Killie or Inverness fans yet however.)

They never met financial restrictions to enter Serie B after relegation. They had to forgo football and then reapplied to Serie C2.

At no point did they get liquidated.

So rangers no longer being in the league is going to mean that those teams you mentioned are going to get 30 extra points and challenge you for the title? Okay then.

    Where'd I say that?

Do me a favour. Read up on Scottish football pre-1988. Thanks.

Sorry, are you stupid? Here, I'll copy and paste it for you since you are unable to yourself... The year 2001 heralded major changes for Fiorentina, as the terrible state of the club's finances was revealed: they were unable to pay wages and had debts of around USD 50 million. The club's owner, Vittorio Cecchi Gori, was able to raise some more money, but even this soon proved to be insufficient resources to sustain the club. Fiorentina were relegated at the end of the 2001–02 season and went into judicially controlled administration in June 2002. This form of bankruptcy (sports companies cannot exactly fail in this way in Italy, but they can suffer a similar procedure) meant that the club was refused a place in Serie B for the 2002–03 season, and as a result effectively ceased to exist.

Notice that last bit there? CEASED TO EXIST.

Yes it was just the two of us. When was the last time Dundee United, Aberdeen and Hibs won the league? They're not even going to win it without Rangers. All that has changed is that the same competition for 3rd place is now just of second place...

You mentioned those team when replying to a comment about the league being a one horse race, saying that it isn't a one horse raise because of those teams. That can only be taken as you saying that they are title contenders.

Wow, its the late 80's now is it? Silly me for worrying about Man City when I should be worrying about Leeds challenging us for the title.
