When do I have to arrive at uni to register if I get accepted?

When do I have to arrive at uni to register if I get accepted?To be honest, it's a bit early for this question, but I just want to know to plan things
So August 16th is the Result day, if I get accepted will they like email me after that day to tell me when to turn up or do I just turn up at the start of the course (it says 26/9/12)?
They have the Freshers Week starting Monday 17/9 so presumably I can turn up on the Saturday or Sunday before and register and take my accommodation and stuff? I woulda thought the uni would start by then. Actually, when do they start?
If anyone has any idea please help me

Re: When do I have to arrive at uni to register if I get accepted?As far as I know, registration takes place from September 17 and you can move into halls from September 15/16 :-) Courses are likely to start on September 24 or 26. Hope this helps a bit, I'm anxious to get more details as well! .-)(Original post by Viet)
