I can't speak for all women, but I, for one, have never lied about being pregnant o.O

I think it's sick that some women do this. I guess it might be for attention or to experience the same feeling that someone who is actually pregnant feels.

Just to note though, not all women are weirdos like this. I certainly would never lie about being pregnant.

I was told I lied about being pregnant and having a miscarriage. Its heartbreaking. I didn't lie. However the Father has good reasons to be convinced I did I suppose, I lied about going to the doctors because I was scared. So stupid and counter productive. Girls, I know you may be scared but confidentiality is actually strictly enforced in the NHS so GO TO THE DOCTOR!

It is so easy to paint all teenage girls who say they have a miscarriage as liars but I can tell you that not all of us do. You should accuse someone of that with the same weight someone should put on lying about that sort of thing.

I think I used the miscarriage for him to stay with me because I felt so alone, I feel bad about it but I just felt like I was drowning in the stress of university and the miscarriage that having him there made me feel so much better. He was my sanctuary. Now because he thinks I lied about it I am alone anyway.

My friend tried to convince her (now ex) boyfriend that she was pregnant when he told her that he wanted to break it off. She then tried to claim that the REASON he broke up with her was because she was 'pregnant', and he couldn't handle it, which was not the case at all since he was already considering dumping her a month or so before that.

Needless to say, I lost most of the respect I had for her as a fellow human being. It was a disgusting thing to do.

A girl in my class did this
It's disgraceful - and a terrible thing to do playing with someone's emotions like that!
Worst part is.. it was obvious she wasn't pregnant... so why try and convince people you are?
