I've just submitted my application for a training contract and was wondering if anyone else has. How long did it take to hear whether or not you were successful at the application form stage?

Submitted my application form in March and got a telephone interview the next day but haven't heard about an assessment centre day yet - am wondering if anyone else has? In 2011 people apparently heard on the 11th.

Hi, I am in the same position. I had a telephone interview soon after submitting my application but as yet I haven't heard anything regarding an assessment centre. I hope we will hear soon! Good luck.

I'm not sure. I heard from them quite quickly in relation to the telephone interview but if they haven't sent you a rejection it sounds like they are keeping you in the running. It's such a demoralising process isn't it?! I have received my fair share of rejections already. I hope it goes well for you!

Yes, they do ask for every module and grade in the application form. I wouldn't worry too much about a few bad grades though - I have a few 2.2's and even a couple 3rd's and I got a TC with them.

The telephone interview is outsourced which is why it takes some time for that information to be fed back to IM and for them to contact you about the outcome. Plus they've only just made TC offers to those who were on the VS, so they may be waiting to see who accepts before arranging the AC.

Does irwin Mitchell let you know the outcome even if you are unsuccessful?

I did the vac scheme in July and haven't heard back from then, have they made all their offers already?

Not sure. I know some people who were on my VS haven't heard anything yet, but a few of us have had offers.

yeah just got an email and got rejected from the PLS of the London office, gutted! Really really wanted to work there. where are you based? congratulations!
