In that case, what about this one? http://www.ebuyer.com/291785-acer-as...p-lx-rxp02-007

It's got GT 630M graphics card (which I beleive is better than the 530M) please correct me if i'm wrong. It has 8GB RAM, i5 2.5Ghz processor and 500 GB hardrive.
Yeah it is better the graphics.....the reason I didn't give you that one, is that the laptops around that range have a overheating issue from consumers.

I'd say go check out the ASUS and MSI lines of laptops. They're pretty decent if you're looking for a laptop specifically aimed at gaming.
I'm in the same sort of situation where I want something portable but able to run large games decently and I've been trying to make a decision between those two.
I recently picked up the MSI GE60 and there doesn't seem to be any overheating problems via everything I've heard or read on it. Plus, for the specs, the price is actually decent in comparison to what's on the market.

I have been using a company laptop (Dell E6430) for the last year, daily at home and at work and i am very surprised by its build quality ( screen cover made of metal ) and sturdiness.

While i agree that Dell laptops are not great ( my old 17 inch one went boom after 2 years ) this one has no over heating problems and is the most "sturdy" laptop I have ever used. I have thrown it about, split coffee on the keyboard and stepped on it and it still works as new.

Pity it dose not come with a all powerful graphics card... although i think you can upgrade this (expect a price tag of 750 - 800 though) and is not the prettiest (laptop is aimed at business professionals not gamers)

I am however considering to buy one for uni as have to give back company laptop when i leave.

Hey there, I hear you with the overheating on the 6735s, I also have one and I was having exactly the same problem, I alwasy keep my fan clean and the vents clear of dust, but the 6735s has a flaw easy to fix.

Since I already post the fix in the HP forums I will just give you the link for it, my laptop now is as cool as ice, CPU will not go over 60 degrees celcius even under a stress test.

    Here is the link: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Other-N...ing/td-p/19816

I hope this helps you and many others. Since the overheating on laptops is the cause of motherboard failures in 90% of the cases.

I've recently purchased this laptop really good, had optimus technology so only gets hard when the GT 640M is running on high spec games but never overheats does get hot but thats whats expected from a laptop running demanding games. The processor is really good too. Its a little over 800£ but can run diablo 3 easily.
