    Mattifying moisturisers
    Hi everyone,
I suffer from quite oily skin (especially in the afternoon), and I've been on the search for a decent moisterising cream/gel for ages which isn't too expensive... but actually works unlike most of them!! Can anyone recommend a good make which is easy to get hold of?

Also I was thinking of giving the Body Shop seaweed mattifying day cream a try, as its had quite good reviews, but it's quite pricey, so anyone using this product please could you tell me whether it's worth it or not

    Thank youu

I use Simple moisturiser, it's affordable, and really good the light stuff is probably better, but they also do a 'replenishing' one, try both and see which you prefer

Try clean and clear oil free moisturisers , these moisturisers arnt too good if you have dry patches but they do really help combat oiliness
Also carry around some blotting papers (I would recommend the body shop ones, they are about £4) as these really do help absorb any excess oil which may build up throughout the day!

La roche posay do an effaclar range with a mattifying moisturiser. It'll be a bit pricier (probably £10-£15) but it's a range specifically designed for oily, sensitive skin.

Use mousse foundation, it's matte and gives that even finish without looking fake. I got mine from boots but forgot the brand name. There isn't any other mousse out there so good luck (-:

I use good things miracle mattifyer, which works really well. Its not too much - about £7 and you can get it in boots and maybe sainsburys.

I have combination skin and absolutely love the Clean and Clear Dual Action moisturiser. It keeps my skin pretty much spot free and is the best thing I've actually ever found for getting rid of spots I do get quickly! It's amazing stuff and really cheap!
