Re: List Of Medical Schools That Accept Maths and Further Maths As Separate Subjects
Thank you for this, I have been considering picking Further Maths next year, but as many med schools don't see it as a separate subject, i'd be narrowing down my options unless I pick it as a 5th, but then 5 AS levels are not needed so would be unnecessary extra work! Can't make my mind up haha, but thanks!

Re: List Of Medical Schools That Accept Maths and Further Maths As Separate SubjectsI still think it would be best to not narrow down your options at all if you can help it.(Original post by Ice Man)

Re: List Of Medical Schools That Accept Maths and Further Maths As Separate Subjects
I found this online - it was June 2011 requirements, so not quite up to date and seems very clear and concise so I though I'd post it so that people could get an idea of what the different medical schools require/accept:

I hope it's helpful

Re: List Of Medical Schools That Accept Maths and Further Maths As Separate Subjectsthis is true - I have an unconditional with further maths as my fourth a2 as further maths.(Original post by JohnSimmons)
Sheffield will also accept further maths as a 4th A2 subject.
(Or at least that's what I've been told from their admissions board)
But a lot of places will accept further as a fourth a2 its just it won't be counted in an offer. At least that's how I understood it. -
Re: List Of Medical Schools That Accept Maths and Further Maths As Separate SubjectsYh what the list is, is for anyone having FM as the 3rd A2! so:(Original post by JohnSimmons)

Re: List Of Medical Schools That Accept Maths and Further Maths As Separate Subjectsyou could take further maths on as an AS, may boost your UCAS score and isnt really too much extra time if youre good at maths(Original post by Ice Man)
