But it said one project so i would have talked about the four different ones but i didn't think that was allowed so i just talked about rural womens empowerment ... did you talk about all four?
Yep! Because i thought that farm Africa was just a combination of all of them and so if anything it may just lend itself to more marks :/ in retrospect I probably shouldn't have... :/

I definitely reckon you could! As long as it was quite detailed and you expanded on it enough

very well thanks, apart from the map question
I don't even know why they put the question in because i'm pretty sure it isn't anywhere in the specification. What did you put for the second part of that question? the relationship bit? I put that the areas with the highest popualtion change have the most women illiterate, these are usually ledcs where women have families instead of being educated then i put the less population the less people illiterate then somehting about this being medcs ect.

Oh no i mean in comparison to what the numbers used to be, they arent anything like that, I read in a book that the attempts to rejuvinate weren't as sucessful as they hoped and many people went to the overseas places
Definately not as much as it used to be, its mainly hen and stag nights which is just! The new festival headland is good though, mcfly and the wanted are preforming there next week!

I mentioned beaches, climate, mountains, jungle, water sports like jet skiing and scuba diving and then finally people want to go because it's cheap (package holidays), good service etc. Kind of wished that I'd mentioned the river falls, nice one.
:P Its ok, Dunnes river falls is just one thing you could mention. I personally thought the question was a bit generalised strangely, as in I thought it was too easy just saying: Beaches in montego bay - attract visitors interest in watersports and subbathing etc so I made sure I gave a place for each bit. Blue mountains near Kingston etc

I mentioned the community tourism and how its moving to ecotourism....would that still be acceptable do you think?

I did the following: Population change,Changing Urban Environments, Globalisation.

Which 8 marker are you talking about?
In Changing Urban Environments there has been the same 8 marker on a Sustainable Urban Living for the past 3 papers.

I was going to use that if it asked about the strategies used to cope with mass tourism, but I think most things would be acceptable as long as you say how they make become come

Absolutely, I did a similar thing, mentioning how they are diversifying their holidays to remain current. So they offer extreme tourism and are starting to do semi - eco-tourism with nature tours etc. You're good with that.

What did everyone put about where you had to circle either cbd, inner city and suburbs and then talk about how it is meeting the housing needs or something. That question threw me back abit but i chose inner city then talked about the tower blocks being knocked down and being replaced with appartments and storey houses ( you didnt have to use a case study but i mentioned an example being hulme) then i wrote about how there building on brownfield sites but i dont know if that's right or not!

I did the suburbs, and talked about like large housing, driveways, gardens, etcccccc and also they were spread out. i.e no terrace, so detached

i think it was ok...Except my shocking mistake for tourism in the question about a tropic area. I put tataquara lodge which is an ecotourism place in brazil instead of somewhere easy like kenya or barbados! Tataquara lodge IS in the tropics and i explained things such as climate, beaches(referring to other places), culture and wildlife. Do you think it matters that my case study was...unusual?!
yes, you will maybe only get 1 or 2 marks as the question wanted you to refer to a mass tourism site e.g. Kenya like you said, where as the Tataquara Lodge is an example of ecotourism

What did people put for the one on changing urban environments where it required you to circle a section of the city and then talk about how the city can meet housing demands? I said in London docklands they have built 22,000 many former warehouses and talked about reclaimed land, was that the right thing to do? I like how they used sustainable settlements again!
    Population was alright
I thought the 8 marker on tourism was a bit strange, I think even people who didnt revise could get that, you could just make up random BS as long as you knew a tropical place!
urm, I put the inner city and talked about relocation incentives like the London council are doing :L but the one on tourism, you can't just make up random crap because the question wanted you to explicitly refer to mass tourism and not all tropical places are examples of mass tourism

I did the inner city too. I talked about knocking down tower blocks and replacing them with appartments/ 2-3 story homes ( i also mentioned hulme, even though you didn't have to use a casy study). I then went on to talk about how they are encouraging people with larger houses who don't need them to move e.g pensioners. Would that be ok do you think?
