GCSE AQA Electronics 11 June 2012
I'm really not sure if did well or not. I thought the paper wasn't too hard, however I had no idea what the CE (count enable) pin did on the last one (Q10 I think). I also wasn't sure why the resistor was needed. On the cash machine flow chart I used 32 boxes

For one od the ones where you had to work out R was it 15K?

And how did everyone find the paper?

Hmmm, I'm not sure how that works. You sure you're not doing "electronic products" as suppose to the rather new "electronics" course? We got told that not many people are doing electronics and most schools do electronic products. I also heard that electronics is based more around the theory and is regarded as a science, and that the electronic products course is regarded as a design and technology.

    here's the difference:

    Electronics: http://web.aqa.org.uk/qual/newgcses/...c_overview.php

    Electronic Products: http://web.aqa.org.uk/qual/newgcses/...c_overview.php

I really don't know how this works if your doing the same course as me, but if it turns out you are, feel free to ask what's in the test :P
