Thor or Ironman?
Whether you think cinema died with Hitchcock or only got good once Michael Bay started blowing up helicopters, this is the place where moving pictures are discussed.

Re: Thor or Ironman?
Iron man v Cap. America
Verdict: Draw
Cap. cant dent ironman's suit and iron man can't beat shield.
Iron man v. Thor
Verdict: Unknown.
Thor would have destroyed iron man piece by piece like he did in avengers. But ironman didn't use any of his best abilities.
Iron man v. Hulk
Verdict: Hulk
Hulk will turn iron man into a coke can. -
Re: Thor or Ironman? You read my mind.

But between Thor and Ironman? I'd choose Ironman because he's got the brains, and that cheeky look, like a puppy. "Yeahhhh, I trashed your kitchen, but you love me for it." And partly because I'm on Loki's side so I will always take the opposite side to Thor. Sorry.

Re: Thor or Ironman?
Comparisons should really be like with like. It's clear that the Aliens and gods are going to always be much more powerful - so Silver Surfer, Thor, Beta Ray Bill, Galactus etc will be in a league of their own, and the only mortals close will be the really powerful ones like Molecule Man or Magneto.
Hulk is a special case - it's clear from all the wider Marvel literature that they have intended him to be a force of nature in itself - the power of the atom and all that - and Hulk is supposed to have theoretically unlimited power.
Then there's all the run-of-the-mills like Spiderman, Thing, most of the X-men - who have big powers and are all on a level.
Then there's the normal bods who are quite hard or have expensive gear. Captain America, Daredevil, Punisher, Iron Man, Hawkeye and so on. The fiction changes with the story - apparently Captain America once wielded Thor's hammer - and in their own individual histories they vary from highly vulnerable to virtually invincible.
The objective test would be to use the old Marvel Superheroes ratings, under which Iron Man would beat CA easily due to his flight powers and eventually get round the shield.
Thor is physically way too strong for Iron Man and has enough armour of his own (known as dense flesh in the Marvel fiction) to last out any attack. Plus he has the minor advantage of being immortal.
Hulk is way too strong and tough for Iron Man, can cause too much damage too quickly and also has strength that can vary to absurd levels through a power that Marvel only described as "Adrenaline Surge". -
Re: Thor or Ironman?
Seriously are you sure i don't know you in real life?
I have this debate on a weekly basis and i always side with Thor. My reasons?
Thor is a god, that's right a god! He has the ability to create lightning and has a hammer with amazing power.
Iron man is technologically enhanced suit with a man in it.
Apologize for the quality of the video and music.
