Pissed out blood for the first time! So Scared!!
Hi,
I'm male and 18 years old.
Today, when i woke up.. I pissed out a bit of blood.. Not a lot but just a few drops..
I was quite shocked!!
What could be the cause of this?!
It really stung too when i was urinating. I usually get this ticklish feeling when i urinate straight after masturbating.. Not sure if that could be the cause. Plus I've been masturbating regularly for the past 2 years :/ My diet is quite bad but my fitness is really good! I don't smoke, i don't take drugs or anything.. -
Re: Pissed out blood for the first time! So Scared!!Do i have to show my penis to the GP?(Original post by daisydaffodil)
It's probably a water infection. See your GP.

Re: Pissed out blood for the first time! So Scared!!
It's called a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). It is quite common and is cause by bacteria invading the urethra. If the bleeding were light pink then your system could fight off the infection - just drink lots of water (some recommend cranberry juice).
Since you are noting that you are seeing red blood then you need to see your general doctor. She will have you go into a private bathroom and pee into a small cup for a test sample. They will then test for bacteria and prescribe antibiotics which will treat the infection.
Please note that although a UTI is fairly common and often your system will fight it off without prescriptions, it is not something to be ignored. If the infection spreads up your urinary tract it will infect your bladder and your kidneys and could result in them being damaged to the point where your system will shut down.
See your doctor asap and when making the appointment inform the person that you are suffering from a UTI and are in severe pain. It's a quick exam and the treatment is simple, but get a professional diagnosis. -

I had this - it's a water infection. It got that bad because I left it for a week hoping it would go away, and when I started pissing blood, that's the point when I went to see a doctor!
I didn't have to do a sample, and I didn't have to show anything. He did massage my lower abdomen to find out how painful it was, and he deduced that the infection had reached my kidneys which is what caused the blood.
All sorted after 4 days on antibiotics.

Re: Pissed out blood for the first time! So Scared!!some people say cranberry juice affects the lining of the urethra making it more difficult for the bacteria to adhere because its more slippery(Original post by Sternumator)
Get some antibiotics as quickly as you can. They usually say drink plenty of water and cranberry juice for some reason.
it'll probably be a common misconception though -
