    Discovery Week
    Hi Everyone,

My name is Tom and I will be co-ordinating Discovery Week in Sheffield with Harry, who will be co-ordinating Intro week.

If you have any questions about either of the weeks, then please feel free to ask us on here, and we will answer any questions which you have about either of the weeks or the events occurring during this time.

We hope to hear from you soon!

    Best wishes,

    Tom and Harry

    Hey!

Discovery Week will be the week before Intro Week, and is a programme of events aimed at early arrivals, local commuter students and clearing students. It is a lot like Intro Week, but there will be a lot less students around, so it will be the perfect opportunity to relax and explore the city in your own way.

There will be plenty of events, including trips to local attractions, and tours around the University in order to orientate people and get them to know other students. It will be from 10th - 14th September, and will be lots of fun!!

I just want to know how much does it cost to participate in it?

This sounds like a great idea. Are there any events for societies (like Activities fair)? I'm going to be one of those local commuter students but I'm also a society president... looking for an opportunity to reach new members.
