    Sony Experia U
    So I'm thinking of getting the phone, but i'm purley basing this on the fact that it looks pretty and its affordable! I will mainly be using it for calling, texting and internet, so jsut the basic stuff really, but I don't understand ANY of the technical stuff, and so i'm not sure whether its any good, would somone please help me, oi'd be very very greatfull !

    Also if anyone has the phone, can you get apps in the same way you can on iphones, as the only thing i like about my iphone is the way there is an app for everything!
    Also, any idea if you can lock it with a password, as i don't trust my firends, as before i put a pass on the ipohone they where buggers!!

    I have not had any experience with the Xperia U, however its had middle of the road specs, therefore you will get some great deals at a reasononable price.

    key ones to note: dual-core, 5MP camera, 512 RAM

    Not sure if this handset will be in direct competition with the iPhone, however may be worth a pop.

    With regards to the apps, there are loads of free apps on Play Store (formally Android Market), which is the equivalent to the Apple Store.

    Passwords, are also built into all android phones. You can have a nifty locking screen (see attachment below).

    Are you already set on getting a deal through 3 Mobile, as there may be some better deals out there, see: Best Mobile Contracts - Xperia U
