Unfortunately book doesn't give mark scheme, just answer. They get 14.4 m/s, I get 9.9 m/s. Anyone help.

My method resolve verticall and horizontally, express one as a ratio of other, to get tan theta involved ... and I get 9.9 m/s.

    I get 14.8 m/s to 3 sig.fig., with your methodology, using g=9.8 m/s/s.
