Help me pick a uni course TSRers!
    Hey everyone,

i've just finished my AS levels and starting my EPQ (extended project qualification) for the summer.

I am studying (predicted grades in brackets)

    - Maths (B)
    - Geography (A)
    - Business (A)
    - Computing (A)

I am hoping to drop maths and continue the other 3 to A2, but am really unsure of what courses there are related to them. My main interests are Computing and Geography and ideally any courses related to those would be what I am interested in. I live in Yeovil so good nearby unis are Bristol and Southampton and Exeter.

    Thanks in advance!

Do some research. What of those subjects interests you? Can you see yourself studying it for 3 years?

I don't think asking anonymous people to choose a very important part of your life is a very good idea, when a few hours of basic research and Googling would be more effective, and that's not accounting for the biases of people who give you advice.

Since you are interested in Geography and Computing, you should drop business studies as Maths plays a role for Geography and Computing for uni. Then again, it is up to you what you feel comfortable with.

THIS. Every thread on this topic needs a post like this.

DO NOT decide what you want to dedicate (at least) 3 years of your life (and nearly £40,000) to by what "fits" your A-levels. Find out what subjects you enjoy doing, and think you'll enjoy working in, and then choose A-levels that fit that.

Never the other way around, it's a perfect way to drop out before the end of the first year or two.
