Can you pay to re-sit A-levels outside of college?
I've almost finished my A-levels (I have two exams left). I've applied to uni but I've decided not to go so I can take a gap year to work and then I will re-apply next year. However, the course I want to do requires AAB and I'm worried I won't have a high enough grade in Maths because I think I did really badly in one of the modules. Is it possible for me to study on my own during my gap year and pay to re-sit this ONE exam?
The exam board is AQA but I heard that at the end of this year my results will be cashed in so if I wanted to re-sit I'd have to take the whole A-level again. Is this true?
If it is possible for me to re-sit this one exam, how do I do so? -
Re: Can you pay to re-sit A-levels outside of college?you can resit the unit at as a private candidate, you can find centers on the AQA but best to resit the exam as a private candidate at your college- you just show up for the exam. it much cheaper(Original post by Vijay2010)
If you talk to your school, they'll tell you about how much it would be to resit an exam. You can do it, and I think it costs around £40
have fun on the gap year
