I did the paper yesterday and detested it with a passion, spent 5 minutes crying before getting my head around the first question! I also agree question 2 was an awful question! I mean I felt like an idiot 'because it is a surgery book' I have to face it, that exam has lost me my target of A* :') and I am doing medicine through time on Friday yeah, hoping it is better by a long shot!

I agree question 2 was a weird question, wrote a lot though thankfully. I though the other questions were fine though, and I found the sources relatively easy to understand and interpret. I'm also taking medicine through time on Friday, dreading it!

I prsonally think medicine will be easier, I can not stand sources and can do better from my own knowledge :') At least in medicine you can choose certain questions you wish to do out of two choices, so you have twice as much chance of being able to answer them :')

The second question threw me, it was different. However, loads of people at my school said that it was tricky too. I wish we were given more time. I hope I did okay, I really do not want to retake them next year!
I'm kind of worried for Friday's one as there's so much too learn and I'm struggling to remember it all
I think the surgery paper was easier than the one coming up.

Same! I atleast need an A on the surgery but not looking like it will happen because I already got an A* in Germany and Coursework.

Think I'm going to probably get like a B though

Yea same! Hoping they're trying to balance it out so they offer a hard surgery paper but a relatively easy medicine paper!

Well that's a good sign I guess because if lots of people find it tough then the grade boundaries will drop!

Wait, so what year are you in? 10 or 11?

Yea I know but try and remember like key dates and people and just think how that was important or how it changed overtime.

I hope the medicine is easier though so I can hopefully pick up some high UMS marks.

At least in medicine there's a choice of questions, I've been going over dates, factors and order of events

Yea exactly! I enjoy learning the stuff more as well instead of preparing for sources and drawing inferences....

I hope they ask some nice and easy questions tomorrow though.

My Germany exam in January was so easy, the questions were so simple because you had LOADS to write about and link them together.

My school is actually complaining about question 2 as it completely threw everyone in the exam. According to my history teacher, other schools are complaining to.

I though all the questions were reasonably alright but I doubt I've got a A*.

I have all three of mine slap within about 7 days :') I JUST got an A* in coursework (got 45 out of 50 marks) and I think I may have even got a D on Surgery, hoping for A*'s in medicine and american west now to get an A/A* overall

Yeah, it was worded so strangely.
    I'm in year 10.
Yeah, that's what I'm trying to do along with factors
