    Conditional offers
Hey guys! I am from Hong Kong and have applied to do music in UK next year. All cources require applicants to achieve AAB in A Level. But I will submit my public examination results in HK (DSE) to unis.

Durham stated in their website that AAB is equivalent to 555 in DSE. However I received a mail from the music department, telling me that my conditions were 5555333 and claiming it was equivalent to achieving AAB in A Level.

The remaining unis accept 554 as AAB. So the conditional offers' for me from these unis are 554 which are the same as what they claimed on the website.

I know it is all about the decisions of unis and I have no say over them... but I just don't understand why they treat my examination so differently...

Ring them and ask. You deserve a breakdown and an explanation.
