A sci-fi society wouldn't go amiss. Also quite fancy joining the acting society (ok, I don't just "fancy" joining it, I need to join it for the sake of my sanity and general health), creative writing, debate society, scuba diving, pharmacy, oh, loads of things. -

Re: University Society Ideas!!I'd like an alternative thinker society... im talking 9/11.. 7/7 ... Frankfurt subversion techniques. Controversial ****, but i take hope in that atleast some other people know whats going on in the world.

Re: University Society Ideas!!I did various sports societies, band/rock/metal soc, beer/real ale soc etc.
There are hundreds to choose from, you should be able to maintain a good presence at 3 or 4 if you choose ones that don't clash horribly.
. Every university should have one 
and also Creative Writing and the uni radio station
