    Whichever you like, but if you pass in an automatic you can't legally drive a manual. I'd say always pass in a manual if you can, and then you have the option to buy an automatic to drive if you wish to. But learning about the gears is definitely worth it, as you never know what you're going to need to drive in the future.

    The theory test is taken in an automatic.

    You can take it in either, you just have to specify it in your test booking.

    Do everything in a manual as you can still drive an auto when you pass and not the other way. But you do get the choice.
