    AS Geography, a good option?
Is AS Level Geography a decent option to take or is it painfully difficult? I only care about AS Level I don't need information about the A2 side of it. The exam board in my college is AQA what do other people think of the subject with the AQA exam board?

Its not hard I just found it really boring in my case. You have to learn a lot more case studies then at GSCE level that are completly excessive and you could find yourself re-learning GCSE content as some of it is repeated depending on what areas you covered at GCSE. So take it for AS and your do fine to get by, but just make sure you drop it after that.

I wish I took it, I've been told by a few of my friends that it's pretty easy.

Not worth it, but not because it is hard, just dull and a lot to learn by rote

For AS I'd say go for it. At A2 it's hard in certain ways (memorising 50 case studies per topic is just madness) but I found that at AS it just built on GCSE and wasn't that much of a step up.

Yes, although your already considering dropping it. I found A2 easier than AS. The exam was less hard... If u know your stuff you'll be okay.

Go for it! It's a great subject and despite what people say there's more to it than just knowing captital cities and flags! It's a great AS to have and you can get a good grade in it, it's not easy (its not film studies!) but providing that you have a good memory for the details of case studies you'll do fine and everyone I know who took it enjoyed it. I do the AQA course and the AS in both human and physical is really interesting.
