Same, I always seemed to do better on the calculator! I only got around 48-66 for calculator I think
Well if last years mark schemes are anything to go by (and Mr M said they would PROBABLY be similar), if you got the high end of your prediction (60 -66) you might be in with a chance to get an A if you matched the score in your non-calculator paper
9. Would 84% overall get me an A*?

What do you all think the grade boundaries will be out of 200?
11. Re: Mr M’s Edexcel GCSE Mathematics A Higher Linear Paper 2 Answers June 2012
This paper, judging from the mark scheme, is a 98%-100% paper the only one I'm worried about is the random selection question - I wrote:

"The result is randomly selected with him having no influence on the outcome.", or something along the lines of that - would that be acceptable? Apart from that, atleast 190/200 from the two mark schemes.

Thank you very much, Mr M

There was an exchange rate from pounds to koruna. She wanted to exchange up to £200 but only wanted 100 koruna notes. What's was the most koruna 100 notes she could get.

If the mark schemes are similar to last year then yes

It was about the koruna...it said she can take 100 koruna notes. Then it gave the exchange rate from £ to koruna. and then it said she had £200, so how many notes of 100 koruna will she get...I think
15. Re: Mr M’s Edexcel GCSE Mathematics A Higher Linear Paper 2 Answers June 2012
thankyou! i think i got like 94...how many marks would i lose on question 25...i got 111/200 because i did both fractions over 20 as apposed to the first over 20 and second over 19...i showed all the working for my answer, will i get any marks?
16. Re: Mr M’s Edexcel GCSE Mathematics A Higher Linear Paper 2 Answers June 2012
While I'm happy everyone is receiving good results, this will only mean the boundaries will be extremely high right...?
17. Re: Mr M’s Edexcel GCSE Mathematics A Higher Linear Paper 2 Answers June 2012

OK mr.M i need yur help
for question 20/ I wrote 7-2d/-6
But i substitued in values and still gives same answer as your answer do i get all 3 marks

2. for the "suggest how to do random sample" i said number everybody names and use the computer to generate randon names

3. for the standard form question i forgot to square root my answer and left it as 2.4 times10 to the power of 9
do i get 2 marks out of 3 or 1 mark out of 3

and for the vectors question i wrote the wrong values but did the right method the whole way through do i get 1 mark or none for getting no vlaues correct

and is the grade boundary 80% for A*?
20. Re: Mr M’s Edexcel GCSE Mathematics A Higher Linear Paper 2 Answers June 2012
In the old spec, was there ever a time when the A* boundary was 150, or around that?
