I'm installing WoW on my laptop so I can play again and it's at the stage of patching.

The problem is, it will install for a bit and then the DL speed goes down to 0 and the internet stops working, however it still says I'm connected to the internet.

If I then unplug/plug in the router it works again, it cuts out after about 10 minutes each time.

This is only happening if WoW patches, ie it doesn't cut out normally (and hasn't since I closed the launcher).

I'm using Windows 7, I've made sure that the Blizzard Downloader etc are allowed through the firewall.

    Any suggestions? :/

    Thanks

It sounds like it's using all your bandwidth, do you have a bandwidth limit?

You could try turning off peer to peer (options - downloader preferences - uncheck peer to peer)
