So basically, there is this girl 2 years younger who started to chat to me, and we became quite close which lead to conversations about her fingering and me making absolutely STUPID comments such as 'I bet your orgasms well cute '. I said everything I said as a joke really and I asked her afterwards if she knew it was all a joke and she said yes! Well, it turns out she was cousins with this kid in my year. So, she tells him that I was asking for sex when I quite evidently wasn't, but now my whole year class me as a freak and a paedo..

So what I am asking is, how should I recover myself and reply to people's questions? I have also deleted my Facebook and deleted everyone's numbers involved.

Please help.

That must be rather embarrassing. Just ride it out: ignore anyone being an arse about it and when you get the chance just explain what actually happened. Sensible people will understand you, stupid people will keep mocking you until they forget, life will go on and within a few years this will have become completely hilarious to you.

Whilst it's obvious this could have been avoided if you'd conducted yourself in a more... 'respectable' manner, what's done is done. Like Hayden said, you just have to ride it out, There's very little else you can do. Your attempts to refute the claims, or actively stop rumours will probably just get more people talking and what not. Ciao.

Yeah pretty much. It might be annoying, but it probably won't last long. In terms of stopping it happening again, I guess the best thing would just be not having sex talks with girls who are a bit too young? It is clear from this end that it was a joke so there wasn't really anything wrong with that, but school kids don't care about that - they care about mocking people!

Two years seems like a big age gap when you're 14, but you could maybe point out to these people that even if there was anything meant by your comments, which there wasn't, then it wouldn't technically be paedophilia anyway, and they need to get their definitions correct.

Just don't let it get to you for now. If your school is anything like mine was, then someone else will be the butt of everyones jokes this time next week!
