Edexcel Maths A-level exam paper for 21st June 2012 scrapped
"A maths A-level exam paper due to be taken next week has been scrapped because of fears of a security breach.
Edexcel says that its maths paper due to be taken on 21 June will now be substituted by another paper.
There were fears that copies of the planned maths paper had been made accidentally available to schools preparing for exams in Egypt."

I don't know if this has been discussed on TSR yet, had anybody heard about it?Last edited by britchick; 13-06-2012 at 21:51. -

I'm doing alright in papers in terms of difficulty, the problem is I make stupid mistakes like mixing up fractions, confusing integration and differentation (e.g. writing dy/dx and then integrating...) and this loses me trillions of marks. Like a boss

Re: Edexcel Maths A-level exam paper for 21st June 2012 scrappedI'm guessing that the reserve paper will be some relic from the old days of real tough C4 papers. It's been saved up for years just to unleash itself on me(Original post by Tench)
There's a good chance, though, that the reserve paper will be made up of recycled questions from older years so it could be easier
Or maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part...

Although there is a chance that the statistics paper was released I believe that C4 was the one. There are just too many students around the world who would like to solve that stupid paper before the original examination. The replacement papers are usually much more difficult than the first one's. It drives me crazy!! But let's see...
