Favourite Directors?
Whether you think cinema died with Hitchcock or only got good once Michael Bay started blowing up helicopters, this is the place where moving pictures are discussed.

Favourite Directors?
So who's yours? Make a top 5 if you wish. Mine are interchangeable but at the moment, in no particular order my top 5 are:
1. Steven Soderbergh
2. Lynne Ramsay
3. Quentin Tarantino
4. Wes Anderson
5. David Lynch
I also love the Coen brothers, but I still can't forgive them for "Burn after reading" and I wasn't too keen on "True Grit" either. -
Re: Favourite Directors?I quite like Burton. Loved Sixth Sense, but other than that don't really rate Shyamalan. I'm not a Cameron fan.(Original post by munkyness01)
Tim Burton has got to be up there somewhere.. James Cameron comes out with decent stuff as well, gets himself noticed in the least
Edit: how could I forget M. Night Shyamalan !!
