Re: WJEC Mathematics C4 14/06/121/4 is correct.(Original post by ConstantlyStressed)
I thought it went quite alright
I messed up on the first question, but went back and changed my answer to get 1/4.
Did anyone get that? Also, did anyone understand the p question? I managed to get the equation, but I couldnt find the co-ordinates :l
In the p question you needed to factorise the cubic and then substitute in your p values into the x and y expressions to get the coordinates. -

[QUOTE=Llewellyn;38111641]This was my exam paper, with a few answers I scribbled down after I finished. It's not necessarily correct of course, and it doesn't show method. I don't want to discuss any questions, but feel free to use this as a reference.
I had literally exactly the same answers as you -

Re: WJEC Mathematics C4 14/06/127b wasn't too easy though. A lot of the marks will be for substituting in values, and differentiating the substitution, changing the limits, etc. The answer alone doesn't carry much weighting.(Original post by gwenllian94)

It is good that we got the same answers though. Often, the correct result is the most common result. It's unusual for lots of people to make the same mistake and come out with the same incorrect answer. -
Re: WJEC Mathematics C4 14/06/12Yeah I guess I'll have a couple of marks for that question then! Well now I'm feeling much better!! What grade do you want?(Original post by Llewellyn)
