Is there any other foundations you recommend?(Original post by timeofflight)

Re: Products you can't live without?I like the Bourjois Healthy Mix one too. I actually don't know why that is not on the list too. I think it makes some wild claims on the bottle about how you skin is going to suddenly become amazing and perfect due to an apricot or something, but if you disregard that it is still a good foundation. I prefer a foundation with an SPF. I have tried a lot of higher end products that I like but i don't think are any better than these ones.(Original post by La_Mignonne)

Burts Bees balm
Loads of people really like this lip-balm but it contains menthol (I think there is only one lip-balm) which is a known irritant. I would be very careful using this especially if you have sensitive skin.(Original post by Laura1234567890)

Re: Products you can't live without?
Liz Earle cleanse, polish, tone, moisturise. Revelation when I started with this a year ago and I will never go back. This is the first time I have come off the pill in nearly 10 years and not had a massive acne breakout. Holy grail doesn't even begin to cover it.
Maybelline The Falsies Volum' Express. I have tried a lot of mascaras, a lot and this is the best so far, including a lot of high end ones.
Stila waterproof (I think) liquid liner pen (can't fin it to find its exact name right now). Again, I have tested a lot of eyeliners, there are still some I want to try but I wear 50s flicks nearly every day and this is the best I've found so far for application and staying power.
YSL Touche Eclat
Liz Earle cream blush in Peony, perfect for a vintage flushed cheek and more importantly for me, no shimmer! Plus I can dab it on my lips for a more subtle look than my usual vampy reds.
Bare Escentuals mineral foundation. I want to try Mica Bella but out of my price range for now, a make-up artist friend of mine really likes it.
Maybelline 24hr lipstick. This keeps changing, started off as 12hr with a gloss over the stain, now it's 24hr with a balm, which I prefer as I prefer a more authentic matte look. Several shades of red. It really does stick but make sure your lips are in pretty good condition before using! (Not quite for 24hrs though).
Eyelash curlers.
False eyelashes, usually Eyelure but Illasmsqua are supposed to be amazing so they're my next investment. Don't forget to trim them to fit your eyes!
A variety of eyeshadow palettes, Models Own do lovely soft blendable ones.
Simple make-up remover wipes, for taking off my eye make-up.
Really good quality make-up brushes that you wash regularly.
Sudocrem - great for spots.
Elemis shower cream and body lotion. Divine. I've run out and am mourning the loss.
Argan Oil (Moroccan).
Lip balm.
I think that's all.................... -
Re: Products you can't live without?I think you're making a slightly bigger deal out of this than is warranted. I have sensitive skin and I didn't find the peppermint oil irritating - just nicely tingly and refreshing, especially for lips that are chapped and sore. It's only the original, plain lip balm which contains peppermint oil anyway - the other variants (honey, mango, pomegranate etc) use different ingredients and don't tingle after application. They've just introduced a new pink grapefruit "flavour" but I can't find it anywhere(Original post by timeofflight)

Re: Products you can't live without? There are much better choices out there. Tingling is a sign of irritation and damage in your skin. It's quite expensive too.(Original post by AmyJ)
