How is the Cambridge Science Park a tertiary industry?
I'm revising for my GCSE Geography exam which is on the 18th (Monday), and one of the case studies is about the Cambridge Science Park, which our Geography teacher says to use as "location of a tertiary industry". As far as I'm aware, it would either be part of the quaternary industry due to the scientific research that takes place there, or secondary as it develops products such as pharmaceuticals. Where does tertiary industry take place?

Tertiary employment refers to the provision of services. I guess this could be seen in the Science park for things like teaching, lecturing, giving presentations, etc.

Offering services through the facilities they have on offer? Not sure.Last edited by Heyimdec; 20-10-2012 at 14:10.
