Yeah, im doing this. Im just doing past papers with mark schemes to memorize some answers. Also using the CGP book to revise and it is very helpful.

I'm doing it, it's the exam I've been dreading the most - our teachers literally taught our class nothing ;(

My last exam, can't wait to get it over and done with even though I'm dreading it! It's by far the hardest exam, I'm just going through past papers and seeing where I go wrong...need an A* in this exam to get an A* overall

Has anyone got any good online resources/notes? I'm trying to use my textbook to get my head around P6, but I'm finding it really difficult! Rectification, capacitors, relays... what even are these things...

rectification is converting AC current into DC
Capacitors are those things which store electric charge and release it when there is no current flowing
Relays are those things that isolate low and high current circuits and are used with logic circuits because the output from these is usually of low voltage.

O...k... I think I get that, thanks! Haha, do you mind if I ask you *why* those things are used? Sorry and thank you!

So you can work a component which needs a DC supply from an AC supply.

Sure the AC rectification is used so that things that need a DC current can use AC supply.
a capacitor is used so probably like a rechargable battery. It is also used to smooth circuits and to delay responses in circuits.
A relay is used to isolate high current and low voltage currents so that the user doesn't get electrocuted, and also with logic gate circuits because the output from these is low.
