    Learn languages at King's College
    Hi guys!
I'll be doing a LLB at King's College next year, and I would like to keep learning languages. How coud I manage this? Should I join a society or does the Uni offer it? I'm an international student so I don't really know about the way it works in UK. Thanks

I'm pretty sure they have language classes you can sign up to throughout the year online. These are open to anyone, not just kings students so you have to pay but I think kings students get a priority. Otherwise, depending on your course there are free language modules that you can take quick may even contribute to your degree but you better look into this! Hope this helped

Great, would you happen to know if law students are required to pay a fee?

It's free if it's allowed as a module as part of your course but if not, you have to pay.

Yep, that's what I just read, but I was wondering if people would know if law students are required to pay. I mean, if languages are considered as a module for law students

No, you can't do a language module if you're doing straight law.

I love that the modern language centre does a legal Spanish course; talk about great CV fodder

Just wondering... How much did it cost you? Did you have an actual teacher or were you learning with a computer?

    Haha, I haven't started at King's yet!

If I recall correctly, it's about £300 for the year, and you have an hours group lesson every week. I'm pretty sure it outlines it all on the mlc website though.
