    Learning Music on Piano.
Hello, im a piano player and i was wondering if anyone new some good pieces I could learn to play, I got Grade 6 from the associated board of Music, and have dabbled in a bit on Einaudi ( I giorni, le onde and Nuvole Bianche).

    So could anyone suggest anything?

My personal favourite piano piece is liebestraum by Franz Liszt. Although I don't really know a great deal about classical music, and me saying this might make me sound like a bit of a Plebeian to people who know a lot about it, but all the final fantasy piano collections are really nice to listen to. I don't know how to play piano at all, so don't know how difficult this is, I played my brothers for about an hour, before deciding I'd stick to guitar, just long enough to learn the chords to let it be (well transpose the knowledge from guitar to piano)

If you like Einaudi, Yiruma's an awesome one to try

Also maybe Yann Tiersen's Comptine d'Un Autre Été

I would say that the tiersen piece is way too easy for a grade six student since I learned it back before grade two and performed it... It would take maybe a half hour to learn completely.

This may seem a bit childish but I've had a lot of fun listening to and learning some of the music from the Disney movies. I suggest you search for a pianist called Kyle landry on YouTube. On his website are several transcriptions of quite difficult pieces at least in my opinion... (I am taking my grade four exam soon)

Keep me updated on what you decide to do

Yiruma's work does sound very good, i think i'll have a go at one of his, It's annoying really as most of the best sounding pieces of solo piano music are a tad too difficult, moonlight sonata 3rd for example.

I'm doing my grade 6 piano exam (ABRSM) this weekend!!

In the past I've played pieces by einaudi, yiruma, and tiersen, so I'll suggest Chopin's Nocturne No.21 in C-Minor - it sounds nice, and isn't that difficult
